Luminary Ramon

Luminary Ramon is an animal found alone, walking away from the congregation in the Fen Churches, who are following from a distance. They are a hamel with the face of a older man; a tail, thighs, dugs and "lower parts which shake together" , a neck, nostrils, lips, a pair of ribs and a freakishly large nose. The congregation of animals is there for them, because they are a luminary.

Luminary Ramon is thought to be blind because their eyes have the clouded bright blue pallor observed in other creatures afflicted with the same disease. Their skin is ulcerated and raw, and part of their body has been scorched.

Fight

When fought, a great cloud erupts surrounding them. Apart from this they do nothing to protect themselves, and will die easily. When killed a comet can be seen streaking through the sky.

Dialogue

First meeting:

Sea-scented creature,

You who stand in front of me.

My breath exhales poison,

so nobody has come so close to me

as to see the bones in my head,

the creases in my brow,

and my cracked skin;

which have become to look so much like the cracks and crevices

in these rocks I first climbed,

to reach this place.

and when attacked:

You have come to plow my body?

To take the seeds in my gut?
